_When The Circle gathers, potions are poured. For some, it is tea. For others, it is wine. For others still, a brew more ancient... drawn from spores of the forest. Each vessel holds a choice: dull the senses, sharpen them, or open the door entirely. To drink The Potion of the Forest is one kind of magic. To decline is another. Both strengthen The Circle._
# The Instruction
The Potion of the Forest is a most sacred Ritual. Its instructions must be followed carefully, lest the forest eat your ass alive. Walk with care and you may not only have a beautiful time—you may glimpse a powerful transformation:
- **The source is pure.** The mushrooms within The Potion are magical—grown by a member of The Circle and ground into powder by The White Witch herself.
- **Take only what you’re ready for.** Your dose depends on where you have walked before, how steady you feel, and how far you wish to go. From the smallest whisper to the deepest plunge, the range is wide. The White Witch will help you choose.
- **We begin in a room built for rest.** A pillow, a mask, a blanket—these are your allies when the forest asks you to lie still. Yet the call may change: to rise, to speak, to laugh, to dance. There are no rules—the body decides.
- **Eat light, drink water, honor The Potion alone.** A full stomach can dull the forest, while an empty one may unsettle it. Carry clear water as its companion, and sip often. Do not invite other spirits—of bottle or leaf—for they quarrel with the spores.
- **Sober guides stand by.** You do not walk alone. Some in The Circle stand steady—clear-eyed—holding the lantern for those who wander too far.
- **Every journey is valid, every boundary sacred.** Some will see colors, some will laugh, some will meet themselves in silence. Each path is true; none is lesser. Not every vision is meant to be spoken, nor every tear to be witnessed. Hold each other gently, and honor what is offered—and what is kept private.
This Ritual begins at exactly 3:43 p.m.—the precise moment of [[The White Witch||The White Witch's]] birth.
Once the door is opened, the forest holds you for hours. Step in with patience; step in knowing the journey is long, yet there is always a way back. Some return swiftly, others more slowly, but all will be welcomed home to warmth, food, and The Circle—for more Rituals await.
